Superhydrophobic and Thermally Conductive Coating for Restraining Corona Loss and Audible Noise of High-Voltage Transmission Lines

In recent years, the number of high-voltage transmission lines has sharply increased with rapid development modern industry. However, a corona discharge phenomenon often occurs on exposed lines, leading to energy loss and noise pollution. Herein, we have proposed facile spraying method prepare superhydrophobic thermally conductive coating restrain vinyl silicone oil hydrogen as main materials modified boron nitride (BN) thermal filler. The obtained composite exhibited superhydrophobicity, high water contact angle 162°. addition, also showed good self-cleaning capability, non-adhesion mechanical stability, chemical stability. Owing construction pathways BN, conductivity reached 1.05 W/m·K, which was beneficial quickly dissipating heat generated by current heating effect. Moreover, losses positive negative electrodes under simulated rainy conditions were decreased 7.43% 8.05%, respectively. findings our work provided new strategy effectively showing great application potential in field power networks.
